Questions.
Do all partnerships involve equity?
Yes. Aberrant Capital partners with businesses in exchange for equity, agreed up front. We don't lend money or charge consulting fees.
How much equity do you take?
It depends on the business, its stage and what each side brings. There's no fixed formula. Every opportunity is open to discussion.
Can a partnership change over time?
Yes. An advisory seat can become an active partnership, or an active partnership can step back to a silent one, if that's what the business needs.
Do you only work with New Zealand businesses?
No. We're based in Auckland, but we're open to any business, in any industry, wherever it's based.
Aberrant Capital invests its own capital. It doesn't offer financial products, accept investment from the public or give personal financial advice.
Not sure which fits?
Tell us about the business and we'll suggest the right shape for a partnership.
